
To prevent Covid-19 infections and strengthen Covid-19 preparedness and response, a drill will be conducted in Ulaanbaatar from May 6 to 8.
The drill will be divided into three parts as follows:
- Training for emergency response officers and discussion on joint Covid-19 response efforts of governmental and international organizations;
- Mock exercises with 300-bed health facility to be set up at the Buyant-Ukhaa sports complex, a 100-bed health facility – at Khan-Uul Maternal and Child Health Center and a field hospital – at the Retraining and Rehabilitation Center of the National Emergency Management Agency;
- a lockdown drill throughout Chingeltei district of the city.
