How are Things with the Ambulance?

Vice-Mayor for Social Affairs Aizhan Chynybaeva checked the work of the Emergency Medicine Center (ECM) in Bishkek.

The ambulance is operating normally. To date, according to the staffing table of the ECM, 32-33 mobile teams are working around the clock, of which 22 are specialized and 17 are linear (medical). 47 units of vehicles are serviceable.

From November 1 to November 2, 471 people turned to the ambulance, the number of calls was 1462, 357 visits were made, 372 consultations by phone, 91 people were hospitalized.

Today, there are important issues of shortage of teams, staff turnover, their specialized training and the lack of substations of the ECM.

By the way, for the opening of an additional ambulance substation № 5, a builing has been allocated on the Orozbekov st. 259a, repair work is now underway. It is planned to build a polyclinic with a ECM substation in the «Kok-Zhar» residential area, a pilot substation on the Suerkulov st. 1/1 and a linear substation in the «Ak-Orgo» residential area at the expense of a branch of the Qatar Charitable Foundation.

Dear citizens! Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
