BMA WARNS PEOPLE TO ONLY REGISTER WITH “THAI CHANA PLATFORM”

On 25th May 2020, Pol.Lt.Gen. Sopon Pisuttiwong, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, as a director of the BMA’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, presided over the meeting of the BMA’s Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration, No. 48/2020.

The meeting had notified and warned people, especially, vulnerable groups, such as, elderly people, children, patients with respiratory disease and people with underlying disease. If they do not urgently need or not severely ill, they should avoid hospitals, which is a place with higher risk of getting COVID-19 infection and other diseases. The BMA also urged Health Department to collaborate with district offices to conduct proactive screening tests for risk groups such as, medical staffs, inmates, public bus drivers and bus conductors, postmen and messengers, monks or priests or religious workers who work in religious places, laborers, government officials who have to meet with many people, restaurant staffs, market entrepreneurs and staffs, and Department Store Salespersons.

However, for the use of the “Thai Chana platform”, the BMA would like to warn public that, currently, there is only one official website: www.ไทยชนะ.com without other applications or websites. Therefore, people should be aware of their registration, do not trust and give their personal information to other websites or applications. Because their personal data might be stolen.
