Per the State Emergency Commission’s decision, the traffic movement from Ulaanbaatar to the rest of the country has been opened from today, March 1. With this, citizens are allowed to leave the capital city with their own vehicles as well as through public transport by showing their negative PCR test results. However, as the test results are only valid for 72 hours, the corresponding officials may take a rapid test if the COVID-19 test result is no longer valid.
It has also been informed that tickets for inter-city public transport will only be available for online purchase. As the ticketing software is connected to the ‘Gerege’ system making COVID-19 results available online, tickets are only possible to be purchased during the 72 hours.
