As of November 24, 54 local transmission cases of COVID-19 were detected in Ulaanbaatar. In connection with this, the Capital City Emergency Commission, in efforts to prevent further transmissions and curb the spread of the disease, has started mass testing of citizens in some districts and khoroos where COVID-19 cases were confirmed.
Short term and permanent residents of the neighborhoods are required to be involved in the large-scale testing that will be conducted according to schedules designed by the health departments of those districts.
Those willing to get tested for COVID-19 voluntarily are instructed to go to their neighborhood’s family health center and call 1800-0119 for appointment before visiting.
